Press Release regarding the meeting of the Permanent Commission of the Competition Council

In accordance with the provisions of Article 14 of Law 20-13 relating to the Competition Council, the Permanent Commission of the Council held a meeting on Friday, March 11, 2022 at 09:30, under the chairmanship of Mr. Ahmed Rahhou, President of the Competition Council, to examine the files submitted to it by the Council’s investigative services.

At the beginning of its work, the Permanent Commission approved the minutes of its meeting held on February 28, 2022.

The Permanent Commission then made decisions to authorize the following two economic concentration operations:

• • The acquisition by The Carlyle Group Inc through its acquisition vehicle Timber Servicios Empresariales S.A of the exclusive control of LSFX Flavum Topco, S.L. (Altadia);
  • The acquisition of all shares of “Fazua GmbH” by “Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche aktiengesellschaft”.
