In accordance with the provisions of Article 14 of Law 20-13 on the Competition Council, the Permanent Commission of the council held a meeting on Monday, November 8, 2021 at 09:30, under the chairmanship of Mr. Ahmed Rahhou, President of the Competition Council, to examine the files submitted to it by the Council’s investigation services.
At the beginning of its work, the Permanent Commission approved the minutes of its meeting held on October 29, 2021.
The Permanent Commission then decided to authorize the following economic concentration operations:

- The acquisition of exclusive control of RIM Maroc (« RIM Maroc »), a company owned by RIM Enterprises ZRT, by the Iron Mountain group through its subsidiary Archivex S.A.;
- The indirect exclusive control of the company Hella GmbH & Co. KGaA by the company Faurecia S.E.;
- The acquisition (i) in a first step, by Vivo Energy Maroc of joint control of the company MFG Vivo Holding and its three subsidiaries, the companies Sublime Food, Top Gourmandise, and Planet Pizza, and (ii) in a second step, the acquisition by the company MFG Vivo Holding, of 100% of the company TH Energy.

Furthermore, and in continuation of its opinion no. 2/A/2021 of September 6, 2021, regarding the request for an opinion from the Minister of Economy, Finance and Administrative Reform concerning the regulation of prices for Covid-19 screening tests, the first elements of the framework study on the state of competition in the Covid-19 testing market were presented during this meeting.
