Press release regarding the meeting of the Permanent Commission of the Competition Council

In accordance with the provisions of Article 14 of Law 20-13 relating to the Competition Council, the Permanent Commission of the Council held a meeting on Friday, October 29, 2021 at 11:00 am, under the chairmanship of Mr. Ahmed Rahhou, President of the Competition Council, to examine the files submitted to it by the Council’s investigation services.

At the beginning of its work, the Permanent Commission approved the minutes of its meeting held on October 25, 2021.

The Permanent Commission then made decisions to authorize the following economic concentration operations:

• • • • Joint control acquisition of the company “Europcar Mobility Group S.A” by the group “Volkswagen Aktiengesellschaft” through its subsidiary “Volkswagen Finance Luxembourg S.A.” and the company “Trinity Investments Designated Activity Company SARL” in the context of a public takeover bid;
      • Indirect joint control acquisition of the companies “Mfruits SARL and Mondagro SARL” by the company “Mirova SA”;
      • Exclusive control acquisition by the company “DT Holding s.p.a (Della Toffola)” owned by the group “Investindustrial” through the acquisition of all the share capital and related voting rights of the company “Bertolaso S.P.A”.
