Press release regarding the meeting of the Permanent Commission of the Competition Council – held on Monday, June 23, 2025.

In accordance with the provisions of Article 14 of Law 20-13 on the Competition Council, as amended and supplemented, the Permanent Commission of the Council held a meeting on Monday, June 23, 2025 at 09:30, under the chairmanship of Mr. Ahmed Rahhou, President of the Competition Council, to examine the files submitted to it by the Council’s investigative services.

At the beginning of its work, the Permanent Commission approved the minutes of its meeting held on June 19, 2025.

The Permanent Commission then decided to authorize the following economic concentration operations:

• The direct joint control of the company “USG Technologies SA” by the company “AfricInvest Small Cap Fund LLC” alongside the reference shareholder “Equity Invest SA”;
• The exclusive control acquisition by the company “Atlas Hotels Property Morocco SA” of the company “Meeting Point Hotels Morocco SA”;
• The acquisition by the company “Marjane Holding SA” of joint control of the company “Pathé Californie Casablanca SAS”, from and alongside the company “Pathé Cinémas SAS”.
