Press release regarding the meeting of the Permanent Commission of the Competition Council – held on Thursday, January 16, 2025

In accordance with the provisions of Article 14 of Law No. 20-13 of the Competition Council, the Permanent Commission held a meeting on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 09:30, under the chairmanship of Mr. Ahmed RAHHOU, President of the Competition Council, to examine the files submitted to it by the Council’s investigation services.

At the beginning of its work, the Permanent Commission approved the Minutes of its meeting held on Thursday, January 09, 2025.

The Permanent Commission then decided to authorize the economic concentration operation involving the indirect exclusive control of the company Zain Energie S.A.R.L by the company “Afriquia SMDC S.A”.

Furthermore, it decided to declare the operation involving the exclusive control of the company “UP42 SARL” by the company “National Space Company SA” as non-notifiable.
