Press release regarding the Permanent Commission meeting of the Competition Council – held on Tuesday, January 28, 2025

In accordance with the provisions of Article 14 of Law No. 20-13 on the Competition Council, as amended and supplemented, the Permanent Commission of the Council held a meeting on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at 11:30 am, under the chairmanship of Mr. Ahmed RAHHOU, President of the Competition Council, to examine the files submitted to it by the Council’s investigative services.

At the beginning of its work, the Permanent Commission approved the minutes of its meeting held on January 20, 2025.

The Permanent Commission then decided to authorize the economic concentration transaction involving the exclusive control acquisition of the company « Opella Healthcare SAS » by the company « Clayton, Dubilier & Rice Fund XII, LP » through the acquisition of approximately 50% of its capital and associated voting rights.

Furthermore, it decided to declare the transaction involving the joint control acquisition of the company « Z.6 SARLAU » by the company « Maroc Numeric Fund II SA », alongside the historical partner, as notifiable.
