NON-CONFIDENTIAL SUMMARY OF THE TRANSACTION PROVIDED BY THE PARTIES
The Competition Council received notification of an economic concentration transaction involving the establishment of a joint venture « Fertiglobe plc » by the companies « Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) PJSC » and « OCI NV ».
« OCI » is a Public Limited Company established in the Netherlands and listed on Euronext Amsterdam stock exchange. It is a global producer and distributor of nitrogen, methanol, and hydrogen-based products and solutions.
« ADNOC » is a company established in the UAE. It is an energy and petrochemical group operating across the entire hydrocarbon value chain through a network of integrated companies.
« ADNOC Fertilizers » is a wholly-owned subsidiary of ADNOC International Limited, which is itself a wholly-owned subsidiary of ADNOC PJSC.
« Fertiglobe plc » is a producer and distributor of nitrogen fertilizers.
