NON-CONFIDENTIAL SUMMARY OF THE OPERATION PROVIDED BY THE PARTIES
The Competition Council received notification of an economic concentration operation concerning the exclusive takeover of the companies “LG-LHT Aircraft Solutions Gmbh”, “LG-LHT Passenger Solutions Gmbh” and “AerQ Gmbh” by the company “Lufthansa Technik AG”.
“Lufthansa Technik AG” is a German public limited company, 100% subsidiary of “Deutsche Lufthansa AG” owned by the “Lufthansa Group.” “Lufthansa Technik AG” is active in the provision of aircraft maintenance and repair services, engines and aircraft components, as well as in the development and manufacture of cabin systems.
“LG-LHT Aircraft Solutions Gmbh”, “LG-LHT Passenger Solutions Gmbh” and “AerQ Gmbh” are German limited liability companies, active in the manufacture and development of systems and entertainment for aircraft cabins.
