The Competition Council is pleased to announce the launch through its website of Mounafassa.com, a database of international jurisprudence. This database brings together nearly 400 decisions of foreign competition authorities and final court judgments.
This database is intended, in addition to the Competition Council’s rapporteurs, for judges handling competition cases as well as legal firms. It will also be open to academics and researchers wishing to benefit from its content in the context of their research work.
This database was developed within the framework of the institutional twinning entitled ‘Strengthening the institutional capacities of the Competition Council’ which the Council concluded in December 2021 with a consortium composed of the Hellenic Competition Commission, the Competition and Consumer Protection Authority of Poland, and the Italian Competition Authority.
It was designed by experts from the Hellenic Competition Commission, the Competition Council’s rapporteurs, and Moroccan judges.
It is worth recalling that the development of this database strengthens the cooperation relations between the Competition Council and the Higher Council of the Judiciary.
Also, it allows competition law practitioners, especially rapporteurs, judges, legal firms, as well as law students and researchers, to be informed of decisions and court judgments taken at the international level in competition law matters.
