Press release regarding the meeting of the Permanent Commission of the Competition Council – held on Monday, February 26, 2024

In accordance with the provisions of Article 14 of Law No. 20-13 on the Competition Council, as amended and supplemented, the Permanent Commission of the Council held a meeting on Monday, February 26, 2024 at 09:30, under the chairmanship of Mr. Ahmed Rahhou, President of the Competition Council, to examine the files submitted to it by the Council’s investigation services.

At the beginning of its work, the Permanent Commission approved the minutes of its meeting held on February 22, 2024.

The Permanent Commission then made the following decisions:

• Decision to authorize with commitments the economic concentration transaction concerning the exclusive control acquisition by “LAPROPHAN SA” of the company “AIF PHARMA MAROC SA” through the acquisition of all the share capital and related voting rights;
• Decision to take up ex officio for non-compliance with the obligation to notify the Competition Council of an economic concentration transaction, in accordance with the first paragraph of Articles 12 and 14 of Law No. 104-12 on price freedom and competition as amended and supplemented.
