Signing of a cooperation agreement with the Presidency of the Public Ministry

The Competition Council signed a cooperation agreement with the Presidency of the Public Ministry on December 27, 2021. This agreement reflects the concern of both entities to unify their efforts through coordination and consultation between them for an efficient application of the law, protection of markets and consumers, and anti-competitive practices mentioned in articles 6, 7, and 8 of Law 104-12 on freedom of prices and competition. It mainly focuses on legal and procedural cooperation as well as strengthening their institutional capacities through the enhancement of their human capital skills.
