In accordance with the provisions of Article 14 of Law No. 20-13 on the Competition Council, the Permanent Commission of the Council held a meeting on Monday, May 25, 2026 at 09:30, under the chairmanship of Mr. Ahmed Rahhou, President of the Competition Council, to examine the files submitted to it by the Council’s investigation services.
At the beginning of its work, the Permanent Commission approved the minutes of its meeting held on May 18, 2025.
The Permanent Commission then decided to authorize the following two economic concentration operations:
- Acquisition by the company “Pick Albatros Holding For Financial Investments S.A.E.”, through its subsidiary “Albatros Prestige Groupe SA”, on the one hand, of exclusive control of the company “Luxor SA”, and on the other hand, of the assets related to the hotel business held by the company “Sanlam Maroc SA”;
- Acquisition by the company “Westlake Corporation” via its subsidiary “Westlake Vinnolit GmbH & Co. KG” of the production facilities and certain assets of the company “Vynova Wilhelmshaven GmbH”.
