NON-CONFIDENTIAL SUMMARY OF THE OPERATION PROVIDED BY THE PARTIES
The Competition Council has received notification of an economic concentration project consisting of the merger of the economic activities of the cooperative «Maïsadour SCA» and the cooperative «Euralis Coop» with the aim of creating a new cooperative group bringing together all their activities.
«Maïsadour SCA» is a French variable capital agricultural cooperative established on August 22, 2002, with its registered office at Route de Saint-Sever, 40280 Haut-Mauco, France, and registered with the Trade and Companies Register of Mont-de-Marsan under number 782 092 290. The Maisadour group, created in 1936, is primarily structured around 3 business areas (i) an Agricultural division dedicated to the collection and marketing of agricultural products (cereals, ducks, poultry, vegetables, aquaculture & animal nutrition) (ii) a Seeds division that produces and markets seeds and (iii) an Animal Transformation division that ensures the transformation and sale of products based on ducks, poultry, and fish. Products from the animal transformation are marketed under different brands such as Delpeyrat, St Sever, Marie Hot.
«Euralis Coop» is a French variable capital agricultural cooperative established on September 13, 2002, with its registered office at Avenue Gaston Phoebus, 64230 Lescar, France, and registered with the Trade and Companies Register of Pau under number 775 637 861. The Euralis group, created in 1936, notably supports farmers in the Southwest of France in the collection and marketing of their plant and animal productions.
