Meeting of the Permanent Commission

The Permanent Commission of the Competition Council held its meeting, via videoconference, on Tuesday, September 22, 2020, at 9:30 am, under the chairmanship of Mr. Driss Guerraoui, President of the Council.

After the approval of the minutes of the meeting of the Permanent Commission held on August 31, 2020, the commission decided to authorize the exclusive control by the company “Esprinet Iberica S.L.U” of the shares and voting rights of the company “GTI Software Networking S.A”.

Furthermore, the Permanent Commission, after examining all aspects related to the operation of creating a joint venture “Essaouira Farm S.A” between the company “Nareva Enel Green Power Morocco S.A” and the National Office of Electricity and Drinking Water, considered that the said operation does not meet the conditions set by Article 11 of Law No. 104-12 on freedom of prices and competition.

Regarding the completion of the examination of the withdrawal of the notification of the operation of exclusive control acquisition of the company “Carlisle Companies Incorporated” by the company “Draka Fileca S.A.S”, which was the subject of a decision by the Permanent Commission of the Competition Council to undergo a thorough examination, the Permanent Commission took note of the formal request for withdrawal of this notification by Carlisle Companies Incorporated in a letter dated June 19, 2020. Consequently, it decided to abandon the in-depth examination of this operation.
