After a thorough examination of the first item on the meeting agenda, the Permanent Commission made decisions to authorize two economic concentration operations that do not have an impact on competition in the relevant markets. These are the following operations:

          • The creation of a new company by the companies “VLT Investment 6 B.O” and “Voltalia Maroc”, owned by the group “Voltalia”;

Furthermore, the Permanent Commission examined the draft decision to cancel the in-depth study regarding the acquisition by the company “Carlisle” of the company “Draka”, specialized in aeronautical electrical wiring following the request of the notifying party to withdraw its authorization request for the said operation.

Also, in order to allow the commission members to definitively decide on the proposed decision submitted to them, the Council’s instructional services were asked to provide additional elements of comparative law regarding the examined file.

The Permanent Commission had previously approved the minutes of its meeting held on July 02, 2020.
