NON-CONFIDENTIAL SUMMARY OF THE OPERATION PROVIDED BY THE PARTIES
The Competition Council received notification of an economic concentration operation concerning the acquisition by the company “Aramis SAS”, a 100% subsidiary of the Agricultural Cooperative Society “Maïsadour”, of the exclusive control of the company “Mas Seeds SA” through the acquisition of the remaining 40% of the share capital and associated voting rights from the company “Syngenta France SA”.
“Aramis SAS” is a French simplified joint-stock company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the French agri-food cooperative group “Maïsadour”.
“Mas Seeds SA”, is a French public limited company, 60% owned by the French company “Aramis SAS”. It operates in seed production and marketing.
