Press release from the Competition Council regarding the economic concentration project concerning the acquisition by the company ‘Holmarcom SA’ of the exclusive control of the company ‘France Car SARL’

In accordance with Article 13 of Law No. 104-12 on freedom of prices and competition and Article 10 of Decree No. 2-14-652 adopted for its implementation, as amended and supplemented, the Competition Council makes available to the public the ‘summary of the transaction’ below, containing the information provided by the parties.

NON-CONFIDENTIAL SUMMARY OF THE TRANSACTION PROVIDED BY THE PARTIES

The Competition Council has received notification of an economic concentration transaction concerning the exclusive control acquisition by the company ‘Holmarcom SA’ of the company ‘France Car SARL’, through the acquisition of 100% of its share capital and related voting rights.

‘Holmarcom SA’ is a Moroccan joint-stock company with its registered office at 20, rue Mostafa El Mâani, Casablanca, registered in the Casablanca Trade Register under number 37149. It is the parent company of the Holmarcom group active in several sectors including banking, insurance, agribusiness, distribution, logistics, and real estate.

‘France Car SARL’ is a Moroccan limited liability company with its registered office at 3, Rue Assaad Ibn Zarara – Maarif, Casablanca, and registered in the Casablanca Trade Register under number 56557. The company operates in the self-drive vehicle rental market under the SIXT franchise.
