NON-CONFIDENTIAL SUMMARY OF THE OPERATION PROVIDED BY THE PARTIES
The Competition Council has received notification of an economic concentration operation concerning the acquisition by the company “Stellantis Europe S.p.A.” of the exclusive control of the company “Sopriam S.A.” and its subsidiary “Société Générale d’Automobiles SARL”.
“Stellantis Europe S.p.A.” is an Italian company with its registered office at Turin 10135 – C.so Agnelli 200, registered in the Turin Companies Register under number 934697. This company is a subsidiary of the Stellantis Group, whose parent company is Stellantis N.V., a Dutch company with its registered office in Amsterdam, Netherlands, registered in the Amsterdam Companies Register under number 60372958. The Stellantis Group is an automotive conglomerate resulting from the merger between Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) and the PSA Group.
“Sopriam S.A.” is a Moroccan joint stock company, owned by Al Mada and headquartered at 125 Boulevard Moulay Slimane Ain Sebaa, Casablanca. It specializes in the automotive distribution sector and spare parts and operates as the exclusive importer and distributor of three automotive brands in Morocco (Peugeot, Citroën, and DS).
