Press Release of the Competition Council Regarding the Economic Concentration Project Concerning the Joint Acquisition of Control over ‘Sindipark SA’ by ‘Pickalbatros Morocco For Tourism and Investment SA’, together with the Historical Shareholder ‘Sindibad Beach Resort SA’.

In accordance with Article 13 of Law No. 104-12 on freedom of prices and competition and Article 10 of Decree No. 2-14-652 adopted for its implementation, as amended and supplemented, the Competition Council makes available to the public the “summary of the transaction” below, containing the information provided by the parties.

The Competition Council has received notification of a project of economic concentration concerning the joint control acquisition of the company “Sindipark SA” by the company “Pickalbatros Morocco For Tourism and Investment SA” through the acquisition of 50% of its share capital and related rights, by way of capital increase, from and alongside the historical shareholder the company “ Sindibad Beach Resort SA “.

“Pickalbatros Morocco For Tourism and Investment SA” is a Moroccan public limited company engaged in the ownership and operation of tourist resorts and hotels.Elle est la filiale du groupe Pick Albatros, basé en Égypte qui est spécialisé dans le développement et la gestion d’une large variété d’établissements touristiques situés en Égypte et au Maroc.

‘Sindibad Beach Resort SA’ is a public limited company incorporated under Moroccan law and a subsidiary of the ‘SOMED’ Group. It operates in the development, equipment, and operation of the Sindibad Beach Resort residential project in Casablanca.

‘Sindipark SA’ is a public limited company incorporated under Moroccan law, whose purpose is the development and operation of the ‘Sindibad’ amusement park in Casablanca.
