Press release regarding the meeting of the Permanent Commission of the Competition Council

In accordance with the provisions of Article 14 of Law 20-13 on the Competition Council, the Permanent Commission of the Council held a meeting on Monday, October 17, 2022 at 09:30, under the chairmanship of Mr. Ahmed Rahhou, President of the Competition Council, to examine the files submitted to it by the Council’s investigative services.

At the beginning of its work, the Permanent Commission approved the minutes of its meeting held on October 11, 2022.

The Permanent Commission then decided to authorize the following economic concentration operations:

• • The acquisition by OEP French Bidco SAS of the exclusive control of Xtech Invest SAS and Xtech Control SAS;
  • The acquisition of the direct exclusive control of Exxelia International S.A.S and its direct and indirect subsidiaries, by heico electronic technologies corporation, through the acquisition of all its share capital and voting rights thereto;
  • The acquisition of the exclusive control of the Moroccan Consortium SARL by Lab services Maroc SA through the acquisition of a 96.57% stake in its share capital and voting rights;
  • Acquisition by “Saudi Agricultural and Livestock Investment Company” of the indirect joint control of “Olam Agri Holdings” through the acquisition of 35.43% of its share capital and voting rights thereto.
