Press release regarding the meeting of the Permanent Commission of the Competition Council

In accordance with the provisions of Article 14 of Law 20-13 on the Competition Council, the Permanent Commission of the Council held a meeting on Monday, March 28, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. under the chairmanship of Mr. Ahmed Rahhou, President of the Competition Council, to examine the files submitted to it by the Council’s investigation services.

At the beginning of its work, the Permanent Commission approved the minutes of its meeting held on March 24, 2022.

The Permanent Commission then made decisions to authorize the following four economic concentration operations:

• • The acquisition by FIPAR-HOLDING of 14.81% and joint control of the company CMGP GROUP;
  • The acquisition by the company Dislog Industries SA, through a merger absorbing all the capital and voting rights of the company LA MAROCAINE DE DISTRIBUTION ET DE LOGISTIQUE “DISLOG SA”;
  • The acquisition by the company “Orange SA” through its subsidiary “Orange Belgium SA” of the exclusive control of the companies “VOO SA” and the Telecommunications, Media and Technology (TMT) activities of “Brutélé SCRL”;
  • The creation of a joint venture jointly controlled by the company Daimler Truck AG, the company Traton SE, and the company AKTIEBOLAGET Volvo (PUBL).
