The Competition Council received notification of an economic concentration project concerning the acquisition by the company “SONOCO PRODUCTS COMPANY” of the exclusive control of the company “TITAN HPLDINGS I BV” through the acquisition of its issued and outstanding shares, from the company “Titan Holdings Coöperatief U.A.”

“SONOCO PRODUCTS COMPANY” is an American company and a global manufacturer of industrial and consumer packaging products.

“TITAN HOLDINGS I B.V.”, is a Dutch limited liability company, which indirectly holds a majority stake in the company “EVIOSYS PACKAGING MAROC”, a Moroccan joint stock company. The group to which Titan belongs is a metal packaging solutions manufacturer based in Zug, Switzerland.
