Press release from the Competition Council regarding the economic concentration project concerning the acquisition by the company “Louis Vuitton Industria S.r.l” of the exclusive control of the company “Publiesse Technique S.r.l” through a progressive capital increase in several stages until the acquisition of the entire share capital and related voting rights

In accordance with Article 13 of Law No. 104-12 on freedom of prices and competition and Article 10 of Decree No. 2-14-652 adopted for its implementation, as amended and supplemented, the Competition Council makes available to the public the “summary of the operation” below, containing the information provided by the parties.

NON-CONFIDENTIAL SUMMARY OF THE OPERATION PROVIDED BY THE PARTIES

The Competition Council has received notification of an economic concentration operation concerning the acquisition by “Louis Vuitton Industria S.r.l” of the exclusive control of the company “Publiesse Technique S.r.l” through a progressive capital increase in several stages until the acquisition of the entire share capital and related voting rights.

“Louis Vuitton Industria S.r.l” is a limited liability company registered in Italy and is a subsidiary of the LVMH group present in the luxury sector worldwide. The LVMH group is active in five main business sectors: (i) Wines and Spirits, (ii) Fashion and Leather Goods, (iii) Perfumes and Cosmetics, (iv) Watches and Jewelry, and (v) Selective Distribution.

“Publiesse Technique S.r.l” is an Italian limited liability company specialized in graphic design, printing, and texturizing (embossing, screen printing, etc.) on leather, canvas, fabrics, and other materials for the production of fashion and leather goods (bags, shoes, etc.).
