The Competition Council has received notification of an economic concentration project concerning the creation of a joint venture for the development of a green hydrogen project in the Sultanate of Oman by the companies « Fortescue Future Industries United Kingdom Holdings Limited » and « Actis Marathon OGH2 Limited ».
« Fortescue Future Industries United Kingdom Holdings Limited » is a private limited company incorporated under the laws of England and Wales, with its registered office at 1st Floor, Templeback, 10 Temple Back, Bristol, BS1 6FL, United Kingdom and registered with Companies House under number 14718282. The company is active in research, development, and production of green electricity, green hydrogen, green ammonia, and other green industrial products.
« Actis Marathon OGH2 Limited », a private limited company incorporated in England and Wales (registered under no. 15626961), with its registered office at 2 More London Riverside, London, England, SE1 2JT. « Actis Marathon OGH2 Limited » is an investment company managing a portfolio of companies active in various fields, including sustainable energies and infrastructures.
The joint venture will operate in the markets of green hydrogen and green ammonia development.
