Press release regarding the meeting of the Competition Council Section

In accordance with Article 38 of the internal regulations of the Competition Council, the Council Section held a meeting on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at 09:00, under the chairmanship of Mr. Hassan ABOUABDELMAJID, Vice-President of the Competition Council, to examine the cases submitted to it by the Council’s investigation services.

This Section made decisions to authorize the following three economic concentration operations:

• • The acquisition by “WATT AGGREGATOR L.P.” and “CAMECO CORPORATION” of the indirect joint control of “BROOKFIELD WEC HOLDINGS INC.” and “BROOKFIELD WEC EMEA HOLDINGS LTD” and all their subsidiaries;
  • The exclusive control acquisition by the company “NIJI, S.A” of the company “ALTADOS S.A.R.L” through the acquisition of 60.05% of its capital and voting rights;
  • The exclusive control acquisition of the company ‘’ PRETTL SWH GMBH’’ by the company ‘’FOXCONN INTERCONNECT TECHNOLOGY LIMITED’’ through its subsidiary ‘’FOXCONN INTERCONNECT TECHNOLOGY SINGAPORE PTE. LTD’’ by acquiring 100% of its share capital and voting rights.
