Press release regarding the meeting of the Permanent Commission of the Competition Council

In accordance with the provisions of Article 14 of Law No. 20-13 on the Competition Council, the Permanent Commission of the Council held a meeting on Monday, December 19, 2022 at 12:00 pm, under the chairmanship of Mr. Ahmed Rahhou, President of the Competition Council, to examine the files submitted to it by the Council’s investigation services.

At the beginning of its work, the Permanent Commission approved the minutes of its meeting held on December 15, 2022.
The Permanent Commission then made decisions to authorize the following economic concentration operations:

• • The indirect joint control acquisition by “Agroberries Limited UK” of the company “ABM Farms”, through the acquisition of 50% of the share capital and voting rights
  • The exclusive control acquisition by the company “Meraxis AG” of the companies “Fournier Plastics Group S.L.U” and its subsidiaries, “F2M SAS” and its Moroccan subsidiaries “Maroc Distribution Plastique” and “F2M Plastics S.A.” and of the “Société d’Equipement & Matières Plastiques SARL”
  • The exclusive control acquisition by Gateway Investment Holding Limited of the company Maroc Data Center SAS through the acquisition of 60% of the share capital and voting rights.
