Press release regarding the meeting of the Permanent Commission of the Competition Council

In accordance with the provisions of Article 14 of Law 20-13 on the Competition Council as amended and supplemented, the Permanent Commission of the Council held a meeting on Monday, January 23, 2023 at 09:30, under the chairmanship of Mr. Ahmed Rahhou, President of the Competition Council, to examine the files submitted to it by the Council’s investigative services.

At the beginning of its work, the Permanent Commission approved the minutes of its meeting held on January 19, 2023.
The Permanent Commission then made decisions to authorize the following three economic concentration operations:

• • The acquisition of exclusive control of the company « BioDue S.p.A. » by the company « REF VI S.A R.L. SICAV-RAIF » through the acquisition of 100% of its share capital and voting rights thereto;
  • The joint control acquisition of the company « CMMC SA » by the company « Sama Invest SARL » through the acquisition of 50% of its share capital and voting rights thereto;
  • The acquisition by the company « Henry Schein, Inc. » of the indirect exclusive control of the company « Biotech Dental S.A.S » and its direct and indirect subsidiaries, through the acquisition of 57% of the shares of its share capital and associated voting rights, through its subsidiary «Henry Schein Europe, Inc. ».
