Press release regarding the meeting of the Permanent Commission of the Competition Council

In accordance with the provisions of Article 14 of Law 20-13 concerning the Competition Council, the Permanent Commission of the Council held a meeting on Monday, July 26, 2021 at 9:30 a.m., under the chairmanship of Mr. Ahmed Rahhou, President of the Competition Council, to examine the files submitted to it by the Council’s investigative services.

At the beginning of its work, the Permanent Commission approved the minutes of its meeting held on July 19, 2021.

The Permanent Commission then made decisions to authorize the following two economic concentration operations:

• • • • The acquisition by Assa Abloy Portugal, Unipessoal, Lda. of the direct exclusive control of the companies M. Rodrigues, S.A., Marques, S.A., Jomarliz – Indústria de Técnico-Transformadora, Lda., Cylintec Lda. and the indirect control of the company Lumar, SARL;
        
      • The acquisition by the Frulact group of certain assets held and operated by the International Flavors&Fragrances Inc. group.

Furthermore, the Permanent Commission declared inadmissible, due to the non-submission of documents relating to their administrative file, attesting to their standing, the referral from a group of companies active in security, stretcher-bearer services, cleaning, and gardening in the Souss-Massa region.
