Press release from the Competition Council regarding the economic concentration project concerning the joint takeover by the company ‘UM6P Ventures SA’ of the company ‘Spotter SARL’ through the acquisition of 15% of its capital and related voting rights

In accordance with Article 13 of Law No. 104-12 on freedom of prices and competition and Article 10 of Decree No. 2-14-652 issued for its implementation, as amended and supplemented, the Competition Council makes available to the public the ‘summary of the operation’ below, containing information provided by the parties.

NON-CONFIDENTIAL SUMMARY OF THE OPERATION PROVIDED BY THE PARTIES

The Competition Council has received notification of an economic concentration project concerning the joint takeover by the company ‘UM6P Ventures SA’ of the company ‘Spotter SARL’ through the acquisition of 15% of its capital and related voting rights.

‘UM6P Ventures SA’ is a Moroccan joint-stock company, with its registered office at Lot 660, Hay Moulay Rachid, Ben Guérir, registered with the Ben Guérir Trade Register under number 1965. It has an active investment portfolio in the agriculture, chemistry, green technologies, and healthcare technology sectors.

‘Spotter SARL’ is a Moroccan limited liability company, with its registered office at 250 Boulevard Zerktouni, 9th floor, no. 92, Casablanca, registered with the Casablanca Trade Register under number 488685. It operates in the sector of technological services for verifying the solvency of payment methods.
