Press release from the Competition Council regarding the economic concentration project concerning the acquisition by ‘V3 Gourmet Pte Ltd’ through its subsidiary ‘V3 Gourmet Morocco SARL’ of the exclusive control of the company ‘United Canister Corporation’

In accordance with Article 13 of Law No. 104-12 on freedom of prices and competition and Article 10 of Decree No. 2-14-652 issued for its implementation, as amended and supplemented, the Competition Council makes available to the public the ‘operation summary’ below, containing the information provided by the parties.

The Competition Council received notification of an economic concentration project concerning the acquisition by ‘V3 Gourmet Pte Ltd’ through its subsidiary ‘V3 Gourmet Morocco SARL’ of the exclusive control of the company ‘United Canister Corporation’.

‘V3 Gourmet Morocco SARL’ is a Moroccan limited liability company, registered with the Marrakech Trade Register under number 68656898, with its head office located at 57 rue Mauritania BP 2609, Marrakech. Main -Guéliz Marrakech, a subsidiary of the global group ‘V3 Gourmet Pte Ltd’.

‘V3 Gourmet Pte Ltd’ is a Singaporean limited liability company, registered with the Singapore Trade Register under number 202114983C, with its head office located at 390 Havelock Road, 05-01, King’s Centre, Singapore. The group operates in the luxury gastronomy and lifestyle sector, owning and creating retail brands and culinary destinations worldwide, with iconic concepts such as TWG Tea, Bacha Coffee, and Le Cabestan.

‘United Canister Corporation’ is a Moroccan limited liability company registered with the Marrakech Trade Register under number 57467, with its head office located at Lot No. 367, Industrial Area Sidi Ghanem Route De Safi, active in the manufacturing sector of high-end luxury metal cans for tea and coffee brands mainly for export.
