The Competition Council has received notification of an economic concentration operation concerning the exclusive takeover by the company ‘Toyota Asset Preparatory Co, Ltd’ fully owned by the company ‘Toyota Fudosan’ through the acquisition of all ordinary shares and related voting rights of the company ‘Toyota Industries corporation’.

‘Toyota Asset Preparatory Co, Ltd’ is a Japanese limited liability company registered under business registry number 0100-01-255894, with its headquarters at 1-2 Yurakucho 1-chome, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan. It is established for the purpose of the proposed operation.

‘Toyota Fudosan Co, Ltd’ is a Japanese limited liability company established in 1953, with its headquarters at 4-7-1 Meieki, Nakamura-ku, Nagoya City, Aichi, 450-6216, Japan. It is registered under business registry number 1800-01-031662, specializing in the development and management of real estate, mainly office buildings in Japan.

‘Toyota Industries corporation’ is a Japanese company listed on the Tokyo and Nagoya stock exchanges under number 1803-01-01427. Its headquarters are located at 2-1, Toyoda-cho, kariya-shi, Aichi, 448-8671, Japan. It is engaged in the manufacture and sale of handling equipment, automobiles and automotive parts, and textile machinery.
