The Competition Council received notification of an economic concentration operation concerning the exclusive control acquisition by the company ‘General Education Holding SA’ of the company ‘Ecole La Prairie SARL’ through the acquisition of 100% of its share capital and related voting rights.

‘General Education Holding’ is a Moroccan joint-stock company with its headquarters at 4, rue de la Pie Oasis in Casablanca, registered with the Casablanca Trade Register under number 322393. It specializes in education in Morocco and Tunisia, teaching over 16,000 students and employing 2,000 people with a presence in major Moroccan cities as well as in Tunisia and the United Arab Emirates.

‘Ecole La Prairie SARL’ is a Moroccan limited liability company with its headquarters at Boulevard Ibn Hay Salam – Casablanca, registered with the Casablanca Trade Register under number 41501. It specializes in private preschool childcare services for children aged 2 to 5 and private education services under the national system for primary school, middle school, and high school levels.
