The Competition Council publishes in this issue its second sectoral monograph dedicated to the automotive sector. In Morocco, the automotive sector, after the success of automotive ecosystems that have allowed the establishment of renowned automotive manufacturers and equipment suppliers, continues to rise in our country towards the new globally popular segments.
The sectoral monographs of the Competition Council are part of an approach to openness to its environment and the provision of data and information to the market.
The content of this monograph was developed from the analysis of data from notified and authorized economic concentration operations by the Council and a descriptive approach focused on the exploitation of several categories of data: reports from international organizations, patents, media monitoring, information and press releases from automotive manufacturers, regulations and information from official sources.
