Press release regarding the meeting of the Competition Council Section – held on Wednesday, July 17, 2024

In accordance with the provisions of Article 38 of the internal regulations of the Competition Council, the Council Section held a meeting on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at 1:00 pm, under the chairmanship of Mr. Hassan Abouabdelmajid, Vice-President of the Competition Council, to examine the files submitted to it by the Council’s investigation and inquiry services.

The Section then made decisions to authorize the following economic concentration operations:

• Exclusive acquisition of DISLOG GROUP SA by H&S INVEST HOLDING SA through the acquisition of 4.23% of its share capital and voting rights;
• Joint acquisition of “Hempel SA” by “SeaCoat Investments SARL”, through the acquisition of up to 30% of its issued and outstanding share capital, alongside “Hempel Invest SA”;
• Exclusive acquisition of “Logic Transport SARL” and “Logic Overseas SARL” by “Globex Investissement SA”, through the acquisition of 100% of the share capital and associated voting rights.
