Press release regarding the meeting of the Competition Council Section

In accordance with the provisions of Article 38 of the internal regulations of the Competition Council, the Council Section held a meeting on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. under the chairmanship of Mr. Abdellatif EL M’KADDEM, Vice-President of the Competition Council, to examine the files submitted to it by the Council’s investigation services.

This Section has decided to authorize the following four economic concentration operations:

• • The acquisition by the company « Automotive Distribution S.A» of the exclusive control of the company « AlMABAT S.A » through the acquisition of 79.43% of its share capital and associated voting rights;
  • The indirect exclusive control acquisition of the group « Artis » by the group « Overseas Catering & Services », through its subsidiary « Amman & CO S.A. »;
  • The joint indirect control acquisition of the company « Netis Holding LTD » by « Amethis Fund II SICAR S.C.A. », « AfricInvest Fund IV LLC » and « AfricInvest IV Netherlands C.V. »;
  • The exclusive control acquisition by the company « Envases Europe A/S » of the companies « Domiberia S.L.U» and « Domiberia Benelux B.V. » through the acquisition of 100% of the share capital and associated voting rights.
