Press release regarding the meeting of the Competition Council Section

In accordance with the provisions of Article 38 of the internal regulations of the Competition Council, the Council’s section held a meeting on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 9:00 a.m., under the chairmanship of Mr. Hassan ABOUABDELMAJID, Vice-President of the Competition Council, to examine the case submitted to it by the Council’s investigation services.

The section decided to authorize the following economic concentration operation:

• • The exclusive control acquisition of the company « USINAGE ET NOUVELLES TECHNOLOGIES S.A.S. » by the company « KERING EYEWEAR S.P.A » through the acquisition of 100% of its share capital and related voting rights.
