Press release regarding the meeting of the Permanent Commission of the Competition Council

In accordance with the provisions of Article 14 of Law No. 20-13 on the Competition Council, as amended and supplemented, the Permanent Commission of the Council held a meeting on Monday, February 27, 2023 at 09:30, under the chairmanship of Mr. Ahmed Rahhou, President of the Competition Council, to examine the files submitted to it by the Council’s investigative services.

At the beginning of its work, the Permanent Commission approved the minutes of its meeting held on February 20, 2023. The Permanent Commission then made decisions to authorize the following economic concentration operations:

• • The joint indirect control acquisition by “AMETHIS FUND II S.C.A., SICAR” and “SIACI SAINT HONORE ” of the “economic and financial company” and its subsidiary “GESTION ET PARTICIPATION”;
  • The indirect exclusive control acquisition by the company “Blackstone Inc” of the company “Emerald JV Holding LP” held by the company “Emerson Electric Co” through the acquisition of 55% of its share capital;
  • The indirect exclusive control acquisition of “Regstaer-M” by “Dufry AG”, through the acquisition of 60% of its share capital and related voting rights.
