Press release regarding the meeting of the Permanent Commission of the Competition Council

In accordance with the provisions of Article 14 of Law 20-13 on the Competition Council, the Permanent Commission of the Council held a meeting on Monday, October 25, 2021 at 9:30 a.m., under the chairmanship of Mr. Ahmed Rahhou, President of the Competition Council, to examine the files submitted to it by the Council’s investigative services.

At the beginning of its work, the Permanent Commission approved the minutes of its meeting held on October 18, 2021.

The Permanent Commission then decided to authorize the economic concentration operation concerning the joint control acquisition by the company « Maghreb Private Equity Fund IV », 100% owned by the company « Maghreb Private Equity Fund IV LLC », of 17.24% of the shares and voting rights of the company « Compagnie Marocaine de Bureautique et d’Informatique S.a.r.l. ».

Ultimately, the Permanent Commission issued a decision declaring the inadmissibility of the submission from the Federation of Metallurgical, Mechanical and Electromechanical Industries regarding the complaint of the company « LADCI » about two tender notices, number 2/2017 and number 3/2017, issued by the General Directorate of Civil Protection for the acquisition of ambulances.
