Meeting of the permanent commission

The Permanent Commission of the Competition Council held its meeting, under the chairmanship of Mr. Driss GUERRAOUI, President of the Competition Council, on Friday, March 06, 2020, at its headquarters in Rabat.

This meeting was devoted to the examination and approval of the economic concentration project related to the establishment by the “Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations“,  “EDF Pulse Croissance Holding“,  “ ENGIE “  and “La Poste” of the joint company “ARCHIPELS”, active in the certification and management, through Blockchain, of documents and information related to individuals and businesses.

After a thorough examination of the various aspects related to this project, the Permanent Commission decided to authorize this economic concentration operation, as it will not have a negative impact on competition in the sector concerned.

It should be noted that the members of the Permanent Commission approved the minutes of its meeting held on February 21, 2020, and were informed through the voice of the President of the Council of the results of the National Seminar organized in partnership with the National Commission for the Control of Personal Data Protection, on March 04, 2020, as well as the postponement of the Regional Meeting, initially scheduled for Tuesday, March 10, 2020 in Oujda, and finally the progress of the work of the Working Group responsible for the development of the National Competition Barometer.
