The Competition Council has received notification of a project of economic concentration operation concerning the acquisition by the company “SAS Shipping Agencies Services Sàrl”, an indirectly and wholly owned subsidiary of the company MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company Holding SA (“MSC Holding”, with its subsidiaries, the “MSC Group”), of the exclusive control of the company “CENTRE IMEX SAS” and its subsidiaries, through the acquisition of all its share capital and related voting rights.

“SAS Shipping Agencies Services Sàrl” is a Luxembourg limited liability company with its registered office at 11B, Boulevard Joseph II, L-1840, Luxembourg, registered with the Luxembourg Trade and Companies Register under number B113456. “SAS Shipping Agencies Services Sàrl” is an indirectly and wholly owned subsidiary of MSC Holding.

The MSC Group, headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, is mainly active globally in the maritime container shipping, port handling, logistics, and passenger maritime transport sectors. In Morocco, the MSC Group is mainly engaged in providing regular deep-sea container transport services and logistics services.

“CENTRE IMEX SAS” is a French simplified joint-stock company with its registered office at 33 Boulevard de l’Europe, 13127 Vitrolles, registered with the Salon-de-Provence Commercial Court under number RCS 065 803 637. “CENTRE IMEX SAS” is primarily engaged in international maritime transport commissioning between Europe and Africa.
