The Competition Council received notification of an economic concentration project concerning the exclusive takeover by the company “LSF12 Rigel Holdings B.V.” of the “Technical Plastics” Division of the company “Domo Chemicals Holding NV”.

“LSF12 Rigel Holdings B.V.” is a private limited liability company (“besloten vennootschap”) under Dutch law, located at 38 Via Alessandro Manzoni, Milan, Italy, and registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 96053992. It is a special purpose vehicle and indirect subsidiary of the private equity firm “Lone Star Fund XII, L.P.” with offices in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific, advising funds that invest globally in real estate, corporate equity, credit, and other financial assets.

The “Technical Plastics” Division of “Domo Chemicals Holding NV” is mainly engaged in the production of engineering plastics PA 6 and PA 6.6 (polyamide pellets/granules) used in a wide range of industrial applications.

“Domo Chemicals Holding NV” is a public limited company (“naamloze vennootschap”) incorporated under Belgian law, headquartered at Nederzwijnaarde 2, 9052 Ghent, Belgium, and registered with the Belgian Companies Register under number 0424251076. Domo Chemicals Holding NV is a producer of engineering materials and a provider of integrated solutions.
