Press release regarding the meeting of the Permanent Commission of the Competition Council – held on Friday, June 26, 2026-

In accordance with the provisions of Article 14 of Law No. 20-13 on the Competition Council, as amended and supplemented, the Permanent Commission of the Council held a meeting on Friday, June 26, 2026 at 09:30, under the chairmanship of Mr. Ahmed Rahhou, President of the Competition Council, to examine the files submitted to it by the Council’s investigative services.

At the beginning of its work, the Permanent Commission approved the minutes of its meeting held on June 22, 2026.

The Permanent Commission then decided to authorize, with commitments, the following two economic concentration operations:

• The acquisition by the company « Gestion Naviera, SL », parent company of the Baleària group, of assets related to the maritime transport activity of the « Armas Trasmediterránea » group in the Alboran Sea;
• The acquisition by the company « Baleària Eurolíneas Marítimas, SAU » of assets related to part of the maritime transport activity of the « Armas Trasmediterránea » group in the Strait of Gibraltar.
