Press release from the Competition Council regarding the economic concentration project concerning the acquisition of exclusive control of the company “JAIDA SA” by the Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion

NON-CONFIDENTIAL SUMMARY OF THE TRANSACTION PROVIDED BY THE PARTIES

The Competition Council has received notification of an economic concentration transaction concerning the acquisition of exclusive control, by the Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion, of the company JAIDA SA, through the acquisition of 18.3% of its share capital and related voting rights.

The Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion is a Moroccan public institution created by Dahir No. 1-59-074 of February 10, 1959, with its head office at Immeuble Dalil Place Moulay El Hassan, BP 408, Rabat, Morocco. It specializes in securing and preserving regulated savings and retirement funds, and directing these funds towards the economic and social development of Morocco.

JAIDA SA is a Moroccan joint-stock company with a board of directors, with its head office at Immeuble Dalil Place Moulay El Hassan, BP 408, Rabat, Morocco, registered with the Rabat Trade Register under number 67 529. It specializes in financing microfinance institutions in Morocco.
