NON-CONFIDENTIAL SUMMARY OF THE OPERATION PROVIDED BY THE PARTIES
The Competition Council received notification of a project for an economic concentration operation concerning the acquisition by investment funds indirectly managed by “Strategic Value Partners, LLC” of the exclusive control of “Marelli Corporation”.
“Strategic Value Partners, LLC (SVP)” is a limited liability company (LLC) established under the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, registered under number 3370916, with its main office located in Greenwich, Connecticut, United States. It also has offices in New York, London, and Tokyo. Founded in 2001, SVP is an asset management company specializing in equity and debt investments.
“Marelli Corporation” is a joint-stock company established under the laws of Japan, registered in Saitama, Japan, under registration number 0300-01-014831, with its head office located at 2-19-4, Miyabara-cho, Kita-ku, Saitama-shi, Saitama Prefecture. It holds a portfolio of subsidiaries active in the supply of automotive components and systems globally, including notably “Marelli Morocco SARL”, a limited liability company under Moroccan law, established in the Tangier Free Zone.
