Press release regarding the meeting of the Competition Council Section – held on Wednesday 09 September 2026-

In accordance with Article 38 of the internal regulations of the Competition Council, the Council Section held a meeting on Wednesday, September 09, 2026 at 2:30 pm under the chairmanship of Mr. Adil BOUKBIR, Vice President of the Competition Council, to examine the files submitted to it by the Council’s investigative services.

The Section decided to authorize economic concentration operations related to:

• The exclusive control acquisition by the company “Substipharm SAS” of the assets and rights related to the pharmaceutical products “Rilutek” and “Sabril” held by the company “Sanofi SA”;
• The exclusive control acquisition by the company “Plastika Kritis SA” of the company “Naturplas Industrial SARL”;
• The joint control acquisition of the company “Caiba SA” after its merger with the company “Nosoplas SLU” by the companies “Portobello Capital Gestión SGEIC SA”, “Cobega SA” and “Sonab SL”;
• The establishment of a joint venture by the companies “UPM-Kymmene Oyj” and “Sappi Papier Holding GmbH”
